Kinira is a seaside settlement built at the foothill of the mountain, 23 km away from the capital city of the island, Limenas, while it is located in the east side of the island.  The whole area is lush green and each house has its own large floriated garden with colourful plants and trees.

Hardly 50 meters away from "Hotel Kinira" rooms to let there is a beach where one can enjoy swimming.  However, the most well-known beach of the island, Paradise Beach, is situated 1.5 km away and is worth visiting.
